From "feral teens" causing mayhem in society, to "part pirates" this book and series has a lot reality weaved into it. It actually gave me mild anxiety. In terms of the second book, Shuesterman really delivered. I will admit that it was a slow build at first, but if you stick with it, you won't be disappointed. I did find myself having to look back at the first book to remember some of the characters but once I remembered who was who, everything fell into place. This books gives up a even deeper look at to how "unwinding" became a reality and how easy it was to have society accept it. Shuesterman really knows how to create tension, build up the climax, and leave you hanging on every word right to the very end. I can't wait to dig into the 3rd book...I'm almost scared to get to the end of the series (even though there's 5 books in the series). Honestly this book and series would make for an excellent movie! Fantastic read, now im waiting for the last two to come through the post, I can't rad anything else until this series is finished. I am listening to Unsouled as im impatient however i will read this when it arrives in a day or two! Neal Shusterman is a very talented author.
