First in McKettrick Cowboys trilogy; Emmaline is a mail order bride. Tired of waiting for life, she decides to answer an ad for a bridge on an Arizona ranch - she's just as stubborn as her husband, making for quite a clash in what turns into a loving marriage ( )

A winding, winsome Romance full of likable, if occasionally pigheaded, characters.
