May Morrison is the senior producer for one of television's hottest talk shows, 'Paula Live.' Last season she was the target of a crazed co-working murderer, so now she is taking it slow & enjoying life in the suburbs, only working in New York three days a week. This time off gives May ample time to meet her New Jersey neighbors, & she becomes particularly friendly with the youthful Stacy Blum. She keeps her young looks by going to a spa monthly, but is also a big supporter of the herbal supplements her husband, a doctor, is marketing. May thinks that Stacy's herbal remedies would make a great story for her show, but then she gets a strange call from a stranger, & Stacey ends up dead, the victim of a mysterious "flu". Soon a strange & disturbing pattern begins to emerge--one which may have fatal consequences for all of Stacey's friends--& for May herself.
