So I have to note that it's a bit weird that the descriptions/illustrations of the girls are different than the doll/movie. McKenna had a lot to balance in the story, but I do wish that she'd put in a tiny bit more one-on-one time with Toulane. It was great that she invited her to join Josie, but sometimes it was just her and Josie, and I thought Toulane could have used that reminder that McKenna valued her (like being invited to when she gets her cast off). If a third book had been written, I would have liked to see McKenna spending an afternoon trying rhythmic gymnastics. ( ) no reviews | add a review
