A fave. Not sure if it's the texture or the bright colors or the babies in the pictures. ( )

Priddy, R. (2005). First 100 words. New York, NY: St. Martins Press.
This book is most appropriate for toddlers. This book gives a category on each page and then photographs of objects within that category. For example, on one page the category is colors. Following under that category are pictures of a blue ball, yellow duckling, and orange fish with the label of what is in each photograph underneath. This is a great book to introduce children to the objects around them and start to make those real world connections through literature.
