Lovely 40-page booklet of 70 clearly graphed 13-strand pick-up patterns and plentiful background information. Author has been extremely generous with her time and expertise, hosting free workshops at The Braid Society's Yahoogroup, and is deserving of all the support and encouragement weavers can give her. That being said--Blurb.com books are expensive! I'm fine with a little more than $19 for the book, but the $8 shipping and handling fee from Blurb seems excessive, even if the book is as well packed as one from Amazon (in box, shrink-wrapped to cardboard). (Blurb also charges sales tax: $1.90, in my case) ( )
