This one took me a little longer to get into than I had hoped it would take. I'm not sure why.

But once I got around to reading it, oh man was it good. This was epic.

The ending! Ugh, I have to read the last book soon! I NEED to know what happens to Daemon and Katy. ( )

Really wish this concept was introduced either earlier in the series OR extend the series to more than 5 books. Such interesting characters to explore.

Katy has been captured by Daedalus, an arm of the Department of Defense, and taken to Area 51 where they will be sure to perform all kinds of inhumane experiments on her.

Daemon turns himself in just so he can be near Katy so he can try to protect her. But how does he expect to go up against the government?

I was a little blown away by the events in this book. It messed with my emotions with every turn of the page but I couldn't stop reading it. I love when an author writes so well that she sweeps me into the story so deep that I don't even want to get out. I just want to see what happens next.

I forced myself to write this summary before I went on to the next book. I didn't want to get too ahead of things. But now I am off to read the next book.

I loved this book. The first half wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, but I do think it was necessary. It answered questions that I at least was wondering and really helped in understanding what Dawson and Beth had to go through. The second half was amazing. So much suspense, action, plot twists, and romance.

I love Daemon. I know it's a bit obvious. But I, like many others, can't help but love a bad boy that's all sweet on the inside. I also can't help but like Katy. I think it's because I relate to her. With the exception of her body. But she loves books, she loves to eat, she doesn't want her man ordering her around but still likes when he is there for her. Also thanks to this book I have now order Sweet Evil from my library lol.

This book ended on a major cliffhanger. With one book left to go, I just know it's going to be crazy and jammed-packed with all sorts of action and adventure. I can barely wait to start it.

How I choose my rating:
1* Didn't like it at all. These are rare as I usually just don't finish any book I dislike this much.
2** Didn't like it. Again usually DNF if I dislike it this much, but occasionally I feel it still has potential and I try to stick with it to the end.
3*** I liked it. It wasn't great but it was enjoyable enough. It is unlikely I'll ever reread it but I'll probably finish the series if it is a part of one.
4**** I really liked this book. Maybe not a work of genius, but highly entertaining. I might reread this at some point, and I will finish the series if part of one.
5***** I loved this book. I found little to no issues with it at all. I will probably reread this and possibly more than once. I will finish the series if it's part of one. ( )
