Rhyming text takes the reader through several books within this book, many of which will be familiar even to young readers (e.g. Goldilocks and the Three Bears). In a meta twist ending, a ghost is reading her favorite book....about a boy named Charlie Cook.

Very fun.

This is one of my personal favorites. How can you not like a book about books? Funny, cute, clever and quite the little adventure. ( )

I picked this book because it looked exciting and full of adventure! For this book, I would have students mix together a few of their favorite stories and make up a new ending. ( )
