Is Curran the ONLY person on the planet who really likes Kate? Maybe Julie, Derek & Andrea..... ( )

I enjoy reading these scenes that fill in the blanks with what's going on in Curran's mind. They're so short, though, and I have a hard time rating any higher than 3. I do recommend them to fans of the Kate Daniels series who have read all the books and need more. ( )

This takes place between Magic Strikes & Magic Bleeds. Jim brings Curran a thick file on Kate. They discover her gladiator fights and the man who raised her, Voron, raised her to be a weapon. Which leads them to Roland, his legend and stories and the fact that he'll be coming for Kate. Curran chooses to stand by Kate, even knowing the danger to the pack. Fascinating to get more of Kate's backstory.

Better than the other ones because it's a behind the scenes extra. I was always wondering about this conversation. Wonder what else is in that huge file. It seemed to me from the conversation that Curran wasn't surprised and already expected. Didn't know Mahon knew. ( )

All stuff I already knew, but from Curran's POV, it put things in a new perspective. I love how he loves me. I mean her. He loves her. -_- ( )
