Danika hasn't had an easy life. Being insanely attracted to bad boys has never helped make it easier. One look at Tristan, and every brain cell she possessed went up in smoke. This man was trouble with a capital T. It was a given. She knew better. Bad boys were bad. Especially for her. Considering her history, it was crazy to think otherwise. So why did crazy have to feel so damn fine? For as long as she could remember, Danika had been focused on the future with single-minded purpose. Tristan came along and taught her everything there was to know about letting go, and living in the present. She fell, hard and deep. Of course, that only made her impact with the ground that much more devastating.Bad Things is about Tristan and Danika, and their train wreck of a love story. This series can be read as a standalone, or with the Up in the Air series.… (more)

This was really good but does have cheating in it...FYI. I really don't care to read books where the H is a man whore who uses a crap childhood as an excuse to hurt the h. Technically the first time they were just "friends" but it still hurt Danika. The second time they had a fight but he knew she was in love with him. Anyway, it was so far into the book I felt I wanted to finish it. It was really well written with lots of steamy sex. It kept my interest and had me thinking of the story when I wasn't able to read it. I feel it deserves the 4 stars for sure. I'm not sure I'll read the next as there's just a bit more angst than I like in a book. ( )

Tristan and Danika's story starts out as friends that become much more. The two just can't stay away from each other even though they could be bad for the other. Tristan is a singer in a band and lives the lifestyle of the free and careless. His bandmates are his best friends. Danika is a woman who falls for bad boys. But lately she is on the right path of stearing clear of that particular type of man. Until she meets Tristan. Then all that goes out the window. Even with their list of "Just staying Friends" to do's. When all hell breaks loose though, who will be there for them? Each other? ( )
