I really hate giving a bad review, but I read this book and it was just not that good. It was really ok.

I felt like every relationship in this book was very rushed..Natalie and Alex literally had sex all day and that was supposed to make up for the lack of a genuine connection. They realized they couldn't live without each other after three months of having lots of sex....

The dad loves then hates his son. The Lisa person...pointless and the gay future brother in law...I could go on.

The chapters were not formatted correctly, because you would be reading about them sitting in the living room talking to his dad then all of a sudden he 'enters' her...it really could have been better, it was just so rushed. ( )

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

It's an easy read about a young woman who falls in love with a businessman passing through town, having one last fling before intending to marry a woman he doesn't particularly love for the good of his father's business ventures.

I was a little disapointed in this book, mainly because much of the dialogue as well as the behavior of the characters felt very unrealistic to me. That's just not how people act and speak most of the time in real life. And some of their actions/words were very out of character even compared to themselves in other areas of the book. This lack of authenticity made it hard for me to get into the book and sympathize with the characters.

This mostly predictable book also lacked insight and didn't offer me any new ideas to reflect on or learn from, which is something that is important to me in a book. The focus seemed to be on providing a framework for the bedroom scenes rather than working those into an already meaningful story.

So I suppose I found the book to be about average. Not a terrible read, but nothing that I will remember or recommend to others. ( )
