In this delightful adaptation of "Little Red Riding Hood," we meet the wolf who has decided to sharpen his skills by attending ninja training. When he encounters Little Red Riding Hood, we discover that she, too, went through ninja training and the two appear to be evenly matched. That's when grandma comes in from Tai Chi and helps Red complete the battle with the wolf. In the end, the wolf promises to give up meat and goes to a yoga retreat to recover from all his stress. Filled with comic-style illustrations, this rhyming fractured fairy tale is visually and verbally engaging. The story moves quickly to hold readers attention and is full of humor.
