The plot continues, and you learn more about the unique abilities that some individuals have. ( )

Honestly, I liked the first volume leaps and bounds better. I think what I love most about this title is the world-building and there was much less of it in Vol 2 than in Vol 1. The characters also seemed flatter somehow. And while it was about the same length as the first volume, less seemed to happen.

It picked up a bit with the introduction of Jazmine St. Cocaine/Ana as a POV character instead of a background mention. I am still very intrigued by the sex police and why Ana experiences the Quiet in a very different way than we had previously seen.

I'll continue but this was a bit of a letdown. ( )

This book just got really boring. Not my cup of tea. ( )

It's not often that you read something where your entertained and learn something new. This is the comic where you have interesting characters. You also have lots of things that are informative without being boring. ( )

Gosh this went from "joyfully hilarious and kind of sexy" to both of those things AND really grappling with serious stuff of relationships and trauma and mental health. I really, really liked this volume, and am so glad that I have the third volume already waiting for me so I don't have to wait to get more of this story. ( )
