This book is filled with emotion, from the colors, to the characters expressions, to the meaning behind the story. There is a father son bond that is relatable to many students, and all students in different ways. The pictures are very interactive and there are many ways to include the book into a curriculum. The front and back covers display a step by step guide on how to make an origami boat, which could be a fun activity for the kids! The setting also takes place in the rain so the book could be read on a rainy day. ( )
