One of the better game strategy guides I have ever seen, albeit it desperately needs an index. Comprehensive information about quests, locations, factions, enemies, materials, with copious illustrations and breakdowns of where everything can be found at each location. The deluxe edition comes in a faux-leather cover with an accompanying foldout map of the Commonwealth and free access to an online guide. As I indicated, the only fault is it can be difficult to find particular entries among the copious reams of fairly small print, and an index would make it so much easier to use. But really this overall an excellent companion to this complex and deeply layered game. ( )
