Fiction. Literature. Thriller. Historical Fiction. HTML:NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A young Jamie Fraser learns what it really means to become a man in this Outlander prequel novella. Featuring all the trademark suspense, adventure, and history of Diana Gabaldon’s #1 bestselling novels and the Starz original series, Virgins is now available for the first time as a standalone ebook.

Mourning the death of his father and gravely injured at the hands of the English, Jamie Fraser finds himself running with a band of mercenaries in the French countryside, where he reconnects with his old friend Ian Murray. Both are nursing wounds; both have good reason to stay out of Scotland; and both are still virgins, despite several opportunities to remedy that deplorable situation with ladies of easy virtue. But Jamie’s love life becomes infinitely more complicated—and dangerous—when fate brings the young men into the service of Dr. Hasdi, a Jewish gentleman who hires them to escort two priceless treasures to Paris. One is an old Torah; the other is the doctor’s beautiful granddaughter, Rebekah, destined for an arranged marriage. Both Jamie and Ian are instantly drawn to the bride-to-be—but they might be more cautious if they had any idea who they’re truly dealing with.

I love reading about Jamie and Ian before war, marriage, and babies. The title says it all, "Virgins." I don't want to give anything away. I can only hope for my Jamie and Ian stories. ( )

I love JAMMF, and I love a good bromance. This short has both. It's a look at Jamie and Ian before everything that has happened in the Outlander universe. Of course the author throws in plenty of historical events to keep things interesting also. ( )

A prequel to Outlander. Mourning the loss of his father, a young Jamie makes his way to the French countryside where Ian is serving as a mercenary. Together they start to learn about life as a man. ( )

Ian and Jamie are virgins, in France as mercenaries. This is before the Outlander begins and after Jamie escaped the terrible flogging by Randall and the death of Jamie's father. There's no romance but some pretty graphic scenes with whores and some other sexual scenes that have nothing ot do with romance.

I am a huge fan of the outlander series, this novel is like a prequel of the story of Jamie and Claire, the friendship of Iain and Jamie.
Lovely novel, wonderfully written by Diana Gabaldon.
This is the kind of books, when one begans to read it and can`t stop till the end. ( )
