I never was a big fan of Clary and Jace or much of the Mortal Instrument's storyline but I did fall for some of the side characters and for characters from The Infernal Devices trilogy and this book did a great job of showing off those side characters and also kind of connecting the two series together through time. Some stories were better than others, but the best ones were definitely worth a read. ( )

I really loved this short story collection. Simon had always been my favorite character and I loved all of these stories. i def loved the final two stories the most. I also loved the moments about Malec in this series. It was a great. cont. from heavenly fire. I think my least fav. stories will make more sense after I read lady midnight. This collection of stories made me laugh and cry and if you love Simon YOU need to read this collection! ( )

Flowed well and about what I expected from this book. More background on Simon and the book followed his life when training to become a shadow hunter. I did love getting peaks into what some of the other characters were up to. ( )

Great so far. Love the stories of the past and how it weaves everything together! ( )
