Anonymous user: The CD and the DVD versions of this recital make for an interesting comparison. The sound is equally poor in both, alas, but the performances are incomparable. The DVD omits the overtures by Rossini and Verdi (understandably) as well as Leporello's aria and Mussorgsky's "Wild Winds Are Howling" (regrettably). As a bonus track, there are an extensive interview with Giorgio Gualerzi and Christoff's commanding presence on the stage.… (more)
