He’s airbrushing the A, buttoning the B, and carving the C. Young readers will have fun discovering how Little Mouse creates each of the letters of the alphabet. Bright illustrations fill the pages of this picture book and help young readers recognize and learn the names of each of the letters of the alphabet. Recommended. Alphabet Under Construction is a cute little book to help young children learn the alphabet. A little mouse constructs each of the letters, or example: "Mouse airbrushes the A, buttons the B" and so on. Instead of using nouns to represent the alphabet, the author uses verbs to represent the letters. I believe that children will be engaged in the book due to the vibrant and colorful artwork. The book is construction based in the broadest of sense. Such as Q for quilt, and P for prune. This book is not industrial construction specific like many would believe it to be. However, the artwork is very nice. Illustrations are done by pouring colored cotton fiber through hand cut stencils, which really make the reds, greens, blues, and yellows pop out. no reviews | add a review
