The last time I read a manga series I was in high school and never really though that mangas were actual books...How wrong I was for so long. Recently, I've been getting into a lot of manga and found this one through my public library (which means it was freeeeeee).

I give it a 4 out 5 only because Mirai's angle is kinda annoying. She seems a little empty in the head, but I'm hoping that changes throughout the series. If you're looking for something different in the manga and want to venture into a different genre of manga this is a good one. And as mentioned before there is a lot of ass and boobs.

Overall this seems like a series I can get behind. ( )

I didn't catch that this was by the same creators as Death Note when I bought it. That series started out great, but totally collapsed under it's own weight. This series has an interesting premise where a depressed, suicidal person is saved by an angel that tries to make them happy by giving them wings and "arrows." You find out later that they are actually choosing a god and there are 13 people in the running, each approached by an angel and given similar abilities.

The artwork is beautiful and this first volume is quite intriguing. I really hope it doesn't go the Death Note route and start collapsing..... ( )
