The Cat Crusaders are on the case again, and this time, their investigations uncover a nest of corruption in the Nelson City Council. Every garbage collection company for miles around is bidding on the lucrative Golden Dumpsters contract, including a crime boss from the neighboring town of Growston, and he isn't letting anybody else get in his way. When one of the other bidders turns up dead on the tracks at the train station, Nat and Willow find themselves in a bitter rivalry with the Growston police cats to solve the case before the crime boss gets away again.
