I think this is an awesome informational text that covers engineering AND female role models. I appreciate how the text covers what engineering is, what the engineering process is, as well as the role that women have (and can) play in the engineering process. The book includes great pictures, challenges to the reader, and interesting headings. I think this book would be a fantastic addition to a classroom reading library for its merits as a well-structured informational text and as an example of women in STEAM!

I would use this book when introducing engineering and the engineering process. This could also be a great book to use in a career research project.
