A New York Times, USA Today, and Indie bestseller!

Critically acclaimed and bestselling authors Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera combine their talents in this smart, funny, heartfelt collaboration about two very different boys who can't decide if the universe is pushing them togetherâ??or pulling them apart.

ARTHUR is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it's that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.

BEN thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn't be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend's things.

But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them . . . ?

Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated.

Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.

But what if they can't nail a first date even after three do-overs?

What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work and Ben doesn't try hard enough?

What if life really isn't like a Broadway play?

But what if it is?

What if it's us?

Plus don't miss Here's to Us! Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera reunite to continue the story of Arthur and Ben, the boys readers first fell for in What If It's Us.… (more)

I really love this book. Emotionally invest in it, but that ending, although not sad, it still broke my heart. ( )

*I got this book for review for my honest thoughts*
I really though this was the prefect summer read. I really loved both these authors on their own and just found this story to be such a fun read. I loved NYC as a back drop of this story and also the two characters that we follow. NYC almost felt like a whole character in this story. I also loved not only both POV but also the relationship that developed in this novel. I think i adored arthur a tad more but was so invested in this story. I thought elements of this story was predictable but I really loved this story and found it to be such a fun but diverse read! ( )

This was just okay for me; I thought the storyline had a lot of potential but I didn't feel a real connection to the characters, nor did I feel like they had any legitimate chemistry. I found that I was least interested in the main plot - the relationship between Ben and Arthur - and was most intrigued by Ben's best friend, Dylan. ( )

I had no memory of this until I read the synopsis. I read it two years ago after all and I'm just catching up on missed reviews now. Anyway it's a cute gay teen romance thingie. Hits all the beats. ( )
