My only complaint is that the story is so short, but this is a minor complaint, and as always, Barnes delivers yet another winner to her readers. It was great reading about Cassie and the gang when they are older. Actually, this is the first time in a long time that I can say I read a YA novel with a protagonist who is my age! Reading Twelve is a great way to relax for an hour or two if, like me, you don’t have time to commit to a novel. I would love it if Jennifer Lynn Barnes wrote more of these over the years. I’ll definitely be rereading this novella in the future. (
