I have the 1981 hardbound edition, not the 1997 paperback one. It was my favorite kanji book until another one I will add when I get home. (

Excellent resource, if you're learning Japanese. I use this dictionary more often than any other when reading text in Japanese. In conjunction with a good online dictionary, there's very little I can't look up in one place or the other.
