A colossal cheat sheet for your post-college years, answering all the needs of the modern woman--from mastering money to placating overly anxious parents, from social media etiquette to the pleasure and pain of dating (and why it's not a cliché to love yourself first). A perfect combination of tried-and-true advice and been-there tips, it's a one-stop resource that includes how to clean up your digital reputation, info on finding an apartment you can afford and actually want to live in, and why you should exercise the delicate art of defriending. Plus the fundamentals, from health (mental and physical) to spirituality to ethics to fashion, all delivered in Melissa Kirsch's fresh, personal, funny voice--as if your best friend were giving you the best and smartest advice in the world. … (more)

This had quite a bit of useful information. Some it was meant for women between 20 to 30 and since I am a bit above that age group I just flipped past those parts. It was a good guide though that I still refer too occasionally. ( )

Most informative! I wish that I had this book a lot earlier in life, I think that It would have saved me from making some really dumb choices in my teen and college years. Moms now days just don't have the time to teach their daughters EVERYTHING about life, from being a "woman", to etiquette in the work field, to which types of canned tuna to buy, so this is a great substitute! I will definitely give my daughter this book when she is old enough. I highly recommend this book to any woman no matter her age, and strongly suggest reading it along side your daughter! ( )

I got this book as I saw it had very good reviews on Amazon. I was not disappointed. I read half of it in one sitting. Alot in here that can help a gal, especially if she lives on her own. A must have for any gal. ( )
