Book description
[From back cover]: Finding love in unexpected places . . . Kate Weatherby's dreams of dating a gorgeous California hunk are all washed up when her parents cancel a trip to the beach at the last minute. Somehow, spending a week at Hidden Ranch on Lake Vallecito in her home state of Colorado seems a lot less appealing! But Kate and her brother, Jeff, meet a great gang of kids and are soon involved with swimming, boating, and campfire cookouts. And when Kate sees a handsome, blond boy on a black horse, she's confident this vacation can be salvaged. Steve "Stony" Mahoney works at Hidden Ranch and gets to meet many girls, but he assures Kate he feels something special for her. Kate believes him, until she overhears him using all his best lines on another pretty guest . . .
