DNFing at 32 pages. I love horror manga, and I know how acclaimed Berserk is, but this just isn't doing it for me right now. Volume one was pretty unrelenting misery, and I know Guts is supposed to get more likable as the series progresses, but I just didn't care for his character. That coupled with a pretty shocking/triggering beginning to volume two... I'm rethinking committing to 42 volumes worth of despair. I may revisit this series someday in the future but for now it's a no from me.
