Harry stands up for his friend after Sid steps on her origami art. He vows revenge, threefold, on Sid. This book covers the slick ways Harry teaches Sid that he needs to apologize. It ends with Harry's 9th birthday party on a farm. At the end of the book, recipes are included for items discussed in the story.
This book was a cute take on bullying. Each of the three ways were not mean or harmful, which was refreshing. I very much enjoyed that Harry and Sid remained friends after the revenge, and that Harry was only teaching him that he needed to apologize.
Classroom extensions could be learning origami, discussing bullying, and coming up with problem solving solutions. While Harry's revenge ideas weren't awful, they still weren't completely nice. It would be easy to discuss ways to help others fix problems more constructively.
