A single night with Megaera and I'm willing to do anything to save her from Hades, the man holding her captive, victim to his every whim. A bargain with the devil himself seems a small price to pay for Megaera to go free...Until I learn that she's exactly where she wants to be. She's Queen to Hades's King. And I'm the fool that walked right into their trap. The same fool who desires them both as much as I hate them. I can't resist Megaera's touch-or stop from being drawn to Hades's dark desires. By the time I realize just how deep a game he's playing, it may be too late...For all of us.… (more)

If you expect much outside of sexy times then you’re looking at the wrong book. I’m not a huge fair of hades…. But overall not a bad 3otp. 🤷🏻‍♀️ ( )

I don't usually read modern or first person POV romances, but I had read this author before and been entertained, and I like Greek mythology and Hades and the underworld in particular (the influence is quite slight in this), so I gave it a shot. I enjoyed watching the relationship dynamic between the three main characters develop. And there's quite a bit of steam (not for the faint of heart lol). (D/s, BDSM, f/f, m/m, m/m/f, voyeurism). ( )

So far this is my favorite out of the two that I've read. I really liked the plot of this one a lot more. Also, Hercules is baby boy!!!! That is all I'm saying about him. I can't even begin to describe my love for Meg and HAdes. I'm not going to go into details but just know this book is good. ( )

Disney characters reimagined: Hades, Meg, & Hercules

!! Following may contain spoilers !!

Synopsis & Notes:

I love all things Hades / Lucifer retellings, and including Meg & Hercules in this one was definitely a fun and welcome twist. In our second look into the Carver City elite, we dive right into the depths of the Underworld club.

We start off with a ploy by Hades to use Hercules to get revenge on his father Zeus by having Meg seduce & use him. But that scheming quickly transforms into an actual blossoming relationship between two people (Hades & Meg) who have forgotten how to communicate well and Hercules acting as a bridge to bring them all together again.

Where book 1 scratched the surface of the dark and kinky Underworld, book 2 brings us into the thick of it. The dynamic between this throuple is extremely 🔥🔥 and will have you exploring quite a few potentially new kinks. Buckle up for a deliciously dark and steamy read!

Hades’ & Hercules’ backgrounds provide our first look into the Dark Olympus spin-off series. ( )

Y'all know I like MMF romances so obviously, I enjoyed this. I liked this more than Desperate Measures, but not that much more. This was about the same level of steam as book one so if you've read that, you'll know what to expect.

Once again, I didn't find this book to be super dark. It's definitely steamy and erotic but my threshold for dark romance is a little higher than this. This is also plot-light, just like book one. There is a thread of plot running through all of it but it only ends up mattering at the very end and it's resolved very quickly. I don't mind this but if your expecting a lot of plot drama, you won't get that with this book. I was also sad that the Meg kidnapping scene interrupted the scene where Hades was going play with Hercules publicly because I wanted to read that.

I liked the dynamics between Hades, Meg, and Hercules. There was some relationship stuff that I would have liked to see developed more but overall, it was good. There's a rift between Hades and Meg and it's never suggested that Hercules will fix the rift by joining the relationship, which I liked. I thought this book did a good job showing Meg and Hades healing their relationship while showing the way Hercules fit into the relationship.

The next book is the Tink and Hook book, which I'll admit, I'm less intrigued about because so far, I haven't enjoyed Tink's character as much and we have only briefly met Hook. However, based on the fact that I've liked these first two books, I hope I will like the next one. ( )
