This is a really difficult book with some interesting new challenges - its nice that even after 54 books there were still new ways to play. But you won't win this one, your chances are so vanishingly small, and playing with two of the four characters you will need maximum s/s/l scores to even have a chance. The end boss is one of the hardest going, with a skill of 16. The path there is varied and this book feels a lot more like a RPG campaign guide (which is not surprising, since ghostwriter Carl Sargent is an RPG writer). In fact, it would adapt well to an RPG campaign. Still you will probably enjoy this one despite the difficulty! ( ) no reviews | add a review
Banished from the world of Titan, Zagor the sorcerer is slowly regaining his strength. Within Castle Argent, in the kingdom of Amarillia, Zagor has been transformed into a demon. Such is his power, he must be destroyed. There are several adventurers willing to volunteer, but only one will be chosen. Are you that hero? No library descriptions found. |
