The story is from the perspective of Effie who is in her late 20s and feels discouraged about the place her life is in. She meets Theo and the story follows their relationship and her making changes to better her life.
I liked the writing style and I felt that it flowed really well and was easy to read.
This book was sweet and emotional and heartfelt and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
The only thing that I didn't love was the character's relationship with alcohol, especially in the beginning, it was at times uncomfortable to read. But I feel that after halfway through the book it is dealt with a bit better.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend to read it! ( )
