Well-drawn characters and such an interesting view of the time period. I did have one question: why didn't they elope? Had the impression that young marriages were legal in Scotland. Can anyone comment?

Don't recall liking this one very much. Quite a departure from her usual spy, adventure genre. And I found the characters rather annoying. ( )
