A tome packed with foundational scientific information presented in digestible format; allows the reader to come to grips with the extensive subject matter. Tackling advocacy can only be successful when the reader can formulate the problem clearly and make a convincing business case. Highly recommended!

This book is a well researched guide on how to become more environmentally aware and politically active. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in becoming more involved as an environmental activist. ( )

Loads of information. Goes into the science of things, but presents them in a matter-of-fact way. ( )

This was a nice read. Enough details but not too difficult to understand. Scientific data was very clearly explained and illustrated. Though mostly aimed at America, some of the principles also apply to Europe. Would recommend.

A technical take on how to advocate for the steps that will halt or at least mitigate our planet's human-induced and accelerating warming. I often wondered how to even begin measuring carbon sinks, cap-and-trade markets, and the like, but Professor Perona and his field already have these answers, which is a relief to me. There are many, many charts and formulas, but only in the service of helping the reader understand the myriad technical details. For that reason, this is definitely college-level and above material.
