After nearly two years separated, she is elated that for once, time is on their side, and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date. But her excitement is quickly hampered by the knowledge that, though they are no longer married, Ryle is still very much a part of her life--and Atlas Corrigan is the one man he will hate being in his ex-wife and daughter's life.… (more)

This is a sequel to It Ends with Us which I really enjoyed. I also enjoyed this one too but like most sequels that I have read it not as good as the first. I liked how It Starts with Us starts exactly where It Ends With Us ends. There’s so time gap and is seemless. It’s shows how life goes on after the relationship and the trials Lilly goes through. This one is more of a love story then the first book. Another easy one to read which I love. ( )

I expected this would be just a love story, a happy ending, but it still continued to some extent with the abusive relationship issues. Because sometimes, even if you get rid of your abusive partner, there might still be reasons for meeting with them regularly. Also, some ex-partners just don't want to give up on the relationship... This is an originally unplanned sequel, and at first I thought it wasn't going to be the best, but I still found myself getting drawn into the story. Before long, I didn't want to put it down. There's plenty of things going on and it's much more than a tacked on happily ever after. If you loved the first one, read this too. ( )

Seems like a 300-page epilogue...
And she writes this as if it's a fan fiction, because everything in here is exactly what fans of IEWS wanted to see in this book. Too expectable. ( )

This is the second and final book in the series. Follow Lily, who has left her abusive husband and taken up with Atlas whom she has known since she was sixteen. Atlas who at one time was homeless is now the owner of two restaurants. Follow their life as their love blooms into a wonderful romance. Can Lily's jealous ex-husband accept the fact that Llly and his daughter have moved on with their lives? ( )
