I read the prequel and thought it was terrible. But due to the themes, I wanted to read this book. After a very rocky prologue, I decided to give the book a couple more chapters. A couple more chapters turned into the rest of the book a few hours later.
Reason to Believe was so much stronger of a book than the prequel, and the couple was so good together. I think that Yarros got their relationship right; they were better together than apart. I also liked the kids. They were precious.
Just as with some other reviewers, I think that the author could have fleshed out some of the aspects of Knox's job. What is cutting a line? What does 2000 lines per hour mean? Questions like this were never answered.

Content: language, remembering death of parents, some *thoughts* and a scene between a married couple that is easy to skip ( )
