I adored this story. Max and Daphne are wonderful characters. They are both driven and have amazing chemistry. My heart went out to Daphne and the position her father put her in. Max is a strong hero who wants to carve his own legacy. The plot was solid, and story was skillfully written. I love Max’s family. They are entertaining.

Max’s family also owns the Philadelphia Kings football team. I love that Daphne lives with Carys and Declan Sinclair. Declan is the quarterback of the Kings, so that causes some interesting drama.

This is the first book that I have read by Bella Matthews. After reading this book, I want to read the previous books in the Restless Kings and The Kings of Kroydon Hills series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. ( )
