Akira Tendo and the gang are back to bucket list items as they make their way to Hokkaido for an adventure that's just a little too random and more far-fetched than usual. A nice visit with the characters, but a bit disappointing when it comes to humor and energy.

The bonus story is the best part as the author does some cross-promotion and sends an alternate universe Akira into the death games of his Alice in Borderland series, and we find that Akira handles that situation with the same enthusiasm he has for a zombie apocalypse. ( )
