Thursday, 28 July 2022 marks the 60th anniversary of the triumphant return of Puffing Billy, the much loved narrow gauge train of the Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne. On that cold winter's day back in 1962, locomotive 7A set sail from Belgrave with the first public train to Menzies Creek in almost nine years, after a landslide had closed the line.
