Another awesome first day or second day of school book. ( )

This book is great for the beginning of a preschool year or a kindergarten school year. It follows different dinosaur and talks about proper behavior for school. It asks if a dinosaur has bad behavior then explains that it does not and the good behavior the dinosaur does. ( )

This is also at a lower grade level but if I was teaching kindergarten I would probably start off the school year like this. I think it is a good and fun way to teach the rules of the classroom without needing to lecture them on it, knowing that they never really will listen. ( )

This is a great book for younger elementary students. The book talks about behavior that is acceptable and give non-examples through the story. It is really cute, and can be used interactively with the students. I would like to read this in the beginning of the school year with younger students to make a memorable discussion of good behavior in school with a fun book. ( )

Summary: this picture book is about dinosaurs who go to school and learn about the rules of the classroom.

Classroom use: This is another text I would use at the beginning of the year when we are setting up routines because these dinosaurs do things that we explicitly teach students not to do (like interrupting or talking out of turn). ( )
