I love that this book allows one to understand the difference in day and night and allows activities to take place for engagement. The illustrations are exquisite and truly allow one to grasp the understanding of day and night. ( )

This is a wonderful nonfiction book that includes many interesting illustrations and diagrams to ensure that students are able to understand the concepts of day and night. Not only does this book have wonderful illustrations and diagrams, but it also has activities and experiments within the text for students to become engaged and involved in the book! It is a great way to help students visualize the concept of day and night, and also provides students with a kinesthetic experience, which is why I loved this book so much! ( )

This book talks about what makes day and night. The illustrations go really well with the words, it helps paint a clear picture. It talks about how the earth is always turning. I like how it gives you an idea for a very simple experiment using a lamp as the sun and your body as earth.
