When I read this with O from the library I remember thinking... It's OK but nothing too special. Well I saw it at the Thrift Store and knew I had to have it for H. It's cute. :) ( )

Summary: Little Mouse follows his sister Minka around the house as she finds different items. He wonders what each item is, and he watches her use these items to make something. Minka surprises him with a Valentine's Day card she made for him.

Personal Reaction: It's simple. The illustrations are bright. It's a good book for Valentine's Day. I think kids would enjoy this book

Classroom Extension: Have students make their own Valentine's Day cards using the same items from the book and more. Read the book in defferent tones according to how the words are on the pages.
