The “Missing” by the one and only R.L stine

Two parents disappear, Two children alone at home. Only to find out that their parents were not how they thought they were but the horror has only just begun.

The conflict in the book is the mystery of the Burroughs's parents disappearing, usually Mark and Cara Burroughs are home alone but with every hour that passes the sun rises. Without their parents being not at home the worries and frustration start to increase the siblings worry that something terrible happened to their parents.

There are two main characters that bring this whole story together and they are Mark Burroughs and Cara Burroughs. Cara is the sister of Mark and the daughter of Lucy and Greg Burroughs. And Mark Burroughs was also another character that brought this whole story together. Mark is the older brother of Cara and the son of Lucy and Greg Brroughs.
There are many bad people in this book that bring this story together but I would say the two main antagonists are our Captain Farraday. Which killed Mark and Cara fake cousin and Lucy and Greg friend. And The White Monkeys club. The White Monkey club is a club that started chaos and tried to kill Mark and Caras parents.

The theme of this book would be good vs. evil and self-sufficient.
I recommend this novel, “Missing” to anyone because it has suspense and mystery around every corner, but I do would wish there was a little less detail and more suspense in the book, so if you like suspense and mystery and a little bit of goryness in your book, you would enjoy The “Missing” by R.L Stine. This was better than I thought it was going to be. The synopsis sounded super boring, but I decided to read the Fear Street books in order and this one was up next.

It was bonkers, but not over the top. For the most part it wrapped up nicely with no loose ends. And it was an enjoyable ride that kept me guessing. ( )

R.L. Stine never disappoints. I got hooked on Stine as a kid and now as an adult I’m finally reading through the Fear Street Series and loving it.

This book was full of so many twists and turns. I never knew what would happen next and the ending was one I didn’t see coming. Amazing book and an amazing series! ( )
