A very fin book to help students understand what a synonym is and how we can use them in our writing. This is a very important piece of grammar that students should understand. The book had a hefty number of examples for the reader plus the tongue tie like reading is just plain fun. ( )

This is a great children's book to introduce synonyms and gives examples on each page of synonyms. They are color coordinated so children are sure to spot them. It is also a fun book because it rhymes. I would definitely use this book in my classroom to teach with and do activities with like making a list of our own synonyms we come up with etc. ( )

Pitch and throw, Grasp and know. What is a Synonym is about describing or explaining what a synonym is in kid freely words. This book was an extreme amount of vocabulary that can be covered before reading to the students. I really liked this book because it rhymed but also explain what a synonym is. I would recommend this book to teachers for teaching the students in a way that is not just paper and pen. Yes, the students can do an activity relating to the book, but the students will be more engaged in the book then doing a paper assignment. ( )
