Marvin is picked on by the class bully--and everyone else as well.

Didn't enjoy this one as much. A very quick read. Sachar is good most anytime, but didn't really care for this one. The boys seemed to get a kick out of it. So, not a total loss, right? ( )

Marvin Redpost Why Pick on Me is a funny book that is easy for the reader but is has deeper meanings. It is told from the 9 yr old third grade perspective. It also has black and white sketches that help move the story along. When the littlest thing seems to ruin your life forever. Or does it? This book can help you see how things can turn around with the littlest thing too if you can look at it differently.

I thought this was a funny look into the third grade. Sachar does a good job at letting you tag along with Marvin on his way to taking care of a bully. ( )

This installment of Marvin Redpost is even better than the last. In this book, he is accused of picking his nose and the rumors get out of control. This is a very funny book that any second or third grader would love. ( )

This is a great chapter book for young students to read because it is an easy reader and is also part of a series. It is about a young boy that students can relate to.
