The usual formula for these "Places" or "Nations" or whatever they were books--a few pages for small kids on the industries, a few on daily life, a few on history. In contrast to the Russia wolume, Oram doesn't seem to have a rage-on for Chinese communism--there's just a sly dig, viz. "Chairman Mao is the leader of China. these men are printers. They are printing his little red book. it tells people how they ought to live." And I can get with a sly dig. ( )
