Teeth is a great resource to the different types of teeth different animals possess. This book gives a great description and explains the use of each kind. The book also explains how teeth can vary or be the same and the substances teeth are comprised of. This book would be a great informational text addition to any classroom. ( )

This book was really informative and very well organized. Every page was a comparison of two different kinds of teeth. This book will be an excellent introduction to compare and contrast concepts. This book had really beautiful, realistic illustrations of the different animals and their teeth. The one thing I did not like about the illustrations was that some of the illustrations were a little graphic. There was one image in particular of a cheetah chewing on a zebra’s severed leg that could be a little much for children to see. I think that this book had a lot of good information and avoided scientific terms that would have confused the reader. ( )

The poem that is the main text of this book is just a taste of the informational text that supports it. This is a great informational text if you find the child with endurance to get through it all. Good nonfiction writing. Engaging and informative. ( )

It's a wonderfully illustrated book that gives a young reader an introduction to the many uses and types of teeth that animals have. Each page has a drawing of the animal being discussed with just enough interesting information to draw a young reader in. I think children will love the detailed illustrations and the interesting information about the different animals.

Teeth is a wonderfully illustrated book giving a young reader an introduction to the many uses and types of teeth in the animal kingdom. Each page has a drawing of the animal being discussed with just enough interesting information to draw a young reader in. My children loved this book and were very much engaged. They immediately grabbed paper and crayons and began drawing the different animals and their teeth. My son even drew a food chain. I would highly recommend. ( )
