Ehh, not as good as the original arc or the new prophecy. Don't like how much they bastardized StarClan. Worth reading regardless, I may be being a little harsh. ( )

The warriors series is an awesome trilogy that every cat lover should read! If you like Seekers or Survivors, try this as well! The names are an awesome addition too! ( )

Sol, an outsider, comes to ThunderClan. Jawpaw believes he has to do with the prophecy dealing with him, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw. Suddenly, after a visit by Sol to ShadowClan, Blackstar comes to say that ShadowClan no longer will come to the gatherings. What is going on? Are the Clans at an end?
Why does Lionpaw have dreams as vivid as Jaypaw?

This was so good! Even though I'm an adult, I am enjoying this series so much. I cannot wait to read the next book. Of course, I got emotionally in the aftermath of the battle (there is always a battle) and I know there will end up being another battle before the end of this particular series. I love these characters. I love the story. I get so caught up in their lives. Erin Hunter has done what I want an author to do--take me out of my world and put into the book's world. And this series does it every book. ( )

Interesting character development for the "three." I like the way that their characters are developing. Hollypaw's obsession with the Warrior Code is pretty much what I'd expected, although it has ripened into something richer than her younger self's dogmatism. Jaypaw is maturing out of his earlier self-pity and thorniness and developing true empathy, although his obsession with the prophecy is worrisome. And Lionpaw - can you say Anakin? He hasn't gone over to the dark side, but he's definitely at a crossroads where he could go either way.

I like the way that the "Erins" are able to keep this series fresh, even over many books. The books don't just keep treading the same territory - more battles, more romances, more dangers - but instead they take the assumptions of earlier books and look at them in a different way or even turn them upside-down. In this case, the Warrior Code itself and even the powers of StarClan are questioned. ( )

Eclipse was amazing! I thought it was funny when the cats of the Clans thought the sun had died, but it came back! ( )
