{my thoughts} - This book included some of the previous characters and kept the storyline going nicely. I enjoyed the format in which it was written and how it flowed so nicely with the previous book. It kept me looking forward to what was coming next and I was excited to see where the series would lead – where it was going next. If you liked the previous book I am sure that you will enjoy this one.
Dark Angel
This book was interesting. It revolved around the basis that spirits linger and can potentially cause harm to those in their path. It helped to push forward the story line by being a story in its own. It was an alright read but not something that I would like to read again. That makes me sad since up until this point I had been enjoying reading this series.
The Chosen
I had a really hard time getting into this book and struggled through the entire read. This was not what I would call my cup of tea and once I complete the next book I am going to take a break from this series. The only good thing about this book was it gave more insight to the storyline.
Soulmate
This book was different. It helped me to better understand the soulmate principal and it was based around a character that chose her humanity over immortality. And her soulmate who decided to wait for her over and over again each time that she has passed away. It also helped to move the story line forward but also helped to bring me back to reality. I am once again interested in the outcome of this series. It almost ended up back in the TBR pile but this particular book saved that from being the outcome.
{reason for reading} - I had bought it at wal-mart for something new to read. ( )
I am falling more and more in love with the Night World stories. "Soulmate" was so far the most impressive one of all. It's a very creative way Smith puts Old Souls into a vampire story. ( )
