The Short:
I had a fun time getting to know the girls, and going with them on their adventures. The ending was everything I wanted it to be and more. It took a long time, but all the girls found happiness with a person, or place. I will remember the story, and will eventually reread the trilogy.

The Long:
The book took a little bit for me to really decide to continue the story after I read 40 pages of it during the BookTube-A-Thon. The book was a fast and easy read, and was just summer-y enough that it can be read during any point in the summer. I love the characters. They are all so sweet, and southern (even if they don't want to be), and they are like people that I wish I could be friends with. Their friendship took some turns, but they seem like they will forever be friends.
The story was what I wanted the book to be, and I'm glad that I read the books. It took me no time at all to read and finish each of the books, so I read them very quickly.

Recommend?:
I would 100% without a doubt recommend this series to someone. If you're looking for some southern charm in a fun, quick contemporary, this is the series for you. ( )

Murphy and Leeda plan on traveling home for the summer, Murphy to escape city life and Leeda to listen to her grandmother's will.

Leeda expects to be gone within two weeks, back to the city and her boyfriend. The reading of the will changes her plans and potentially her life's direction.

Murphy's trying to run away from her feelings about a certain boy she left behind at the end of last summer. Will she see him again this year and, if she does, what is there left to say?

Birdie didn't plan on coming home this summer. Recently engaged, she decided to spend her time in Mexico. But on a whim, she rushes home, breaking things off with Enrico. Then she hears the news that her father plans on selling the orchard and its decrepit house to retire. Her heart breaks twice over the summer and she desperately needs something to help her heal.

Together the girls have one more summer on the orchard while they deal with their lives in separate ways. Friendship, love, and survival guide the girls together.

Jodi Lynn Anderson wraps up her amazing trilogy wonderfully, leaving readers fully satisfied. ( )

Love and Peaches is a great book containing friends, family, and love. This book is about three best friends, Murphy, Leeda, and Birdie, who are coming home to the Darlington Orcahrd in Georgia for the summer. However, their summer isn't just filled with lazy days and summer fun like it should be. Murphy is ona mission to find out who her dad is and find the boy she once shared a relationship with. Leeda has to leave her boyfriend behind for the summer and take care of some business left for her by her grandmother. Birdie is confused about what she wants in life and what she can have in life. Love and Peaches will entertain readers with the most event-filled summer yet! ( )
